Take a gentle, deep breath in through your nose. [Pause 4 seconds] And release it slowly through your mouth. [Pause 4 seconds] With each breath, feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed. [Pause 5 seconds] Notice how your chest rises and falls, like gentle waves on a calm ocean. [Pause 4 seconds] With each breath, any tension begins to dissolve. [Pause 5 seconds] Your mind becomes quieter, calmer, more peaceful. [Pause 4 seconds] And as you continue breathing naturally and comfortably, you might notice how your eyelids are becoming heavier. [Pause 5 seconds] Heavier and heavier with each peaceful breath. [Pause 4 seconds] Until they feel so heavy that they just want to close. [Pause 5 seconds] Allowing them to close whenever they're ready. [Pause 6 seconds] And as they close, feel yourself drifting deeper and deeper into this peaceful state of relaxation.
As you relax more deeply, imagine yourself approaching an ancient temple, nestled high in the misty mountains.
