New Subscriptions: When you subscribe to any plan, you receive all credits upfront (monthly plans get credits immediately, annual plans get 12 months' worth).
Upgrading Plans: When you upgrade to a higher tier, you only receive the difference in credits between your old and new plan. For example, upgrading from Basic Annual (1,200 credits) to Premium Annual (1,800 credits) adds 600 credits to your account.
Downgrading Plans: When you downgrade, the credit difference is deducted from your balance. Any credits you've already used remain available until your current billing period ends.
Unused Credits: Subscription credits expire at the end of your billing period. One-time credit packages never expire and are used after subscription credits.
Payment prorations are handled automatically by Stripe. You only pay the difference for plan upgrades, calculated based on your remaining billing period.
