I'm going to hypnotize you now, and you're already beginning to respond. Your unconscious mind knows exactly what to do, as it's done this many times before, allowing you to relax more deeply with each passing moment. As you focus on my voice, you'll notice how naturally your attention begins to shift inward, like sunlight slowly filtering through deep water, creating patterns of peaceful light that dance in your mind. That's right.
Begin by taking a deep, comfortable breath, filling your lungs completely. And as you exhale, feel a wave of relaxation flowing through your entire body. Take another breath, even deeper this time, and hold it for a moment. Now release it slowly, letting tension melt away like frost in morning sunshine.
Notice the gentle weight of your body against the surface beneath you, feeling how it supports you completely and perfectly. Bring your attention to your scalp, feeling any tension there simply dissolving away. Let this relaxation flow down across your forehead, softening the muscles around your eyes. Your cheeks and jaw becoming loose and relaxed, as though all the muscles are becoming like soft, warm butter.
Feel that comfortable heaviness spreading through your neck and shoulders, like warm honey flowing slowly downward. Down your arms, past your elbows, through your forearms... Into your wrists and hands, where each finger becomes completely relaxed, as if floating in warm, soothing water.
Each breath you take carries you deeper into this peaceful state, like descending through layers of soft, comfortable clouds. Your eyes may already feel heavy, and that's perfectly fine... just like heavy velvet curtains wanting to close, protected and safe in this moment of tranquility.
Let that peaceful feeling flow down through your chest, where each breath becomes slower and deeper. Through your upper back, where any remaining tension simply dissolves away. Into your stomach and lower back, feeling as though you're sinking deeper into the surface beneath you. Through your hips and pelvis, becoming as relaxed as a sleeping cat in a warm sunbeam.
Each muscle releasing any remaining tension... melting like snow in warm sunlight, becoming softer and more relaxed with every breath. This wonderful feeling of relaxation flowing down through your thighs... your knees... your calves... Into your ankles and feet, where even your toes become completely relaxed and comfortable.
Now imagine you're standing at the top of a beautiful marble staircase, with ten steps leading down into a garden of perfect peace. In a moment, I'm going to count from ten to one, and with each number, you'll descend one step, going twice as deep into hypnosis with each step down.
Ten. Taking that first step down, letting go completely, like a feather drifting on a gentle breeze.
Nine. Another step deeper, as if floating on perfectly still water, with gentle ripples of relaxation washing over you.
Eight. Everything becoming peaceful and calm, like the quietest moment just before dawn, when the world holds its breath in perfect stillness.
Seven. Deeper and deeper, as though sinking into the softest cloud, surrounded by pure comfort and tranquility.

Five. Halfway there now, each breath drawing you deeper into tranquility, like sinking into warm, fragrant bathwater.
Four. Sinking deeper still, like watching the last rays of sunlight fade into twilight, as peace embraces you completely.
Three. Almost there, floating in a sea of perfect calm, where every sound carries you deeper into relaxation.
Two. Going even deeper, wrapped in a cocoon of complete comfort and safety, protected and perfectly at peace.
One. Arriving in your perfect garden of peace, drifting in the deepest, most profound state of relaxation, where every breath brings you deeper still into this wonderful state of calm.
