Setting Boundaries Without Guilt

Hey there, I'm glad we have this time together today. [3 second pause] As you're listening to my voice, I want you to know that this session is designed to help you build that inner strength to say no without guilt. [4 second pause] Before we begin, find yourself a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down, whatever feels right for you. [3 second pause] Let your hands rest naturally at your sides or on your lap, wherever they feel most comfortable. [4 second pause] You can close your eyes now, or keep them open for a moment longer if you prefer. [3 second pause] This is your time, your space, and you're completely safe here. [4 second pause] I want you to know that everything we do together is designed for your highest good, and your unconscious mind will only accept suggestions that are beneficial for you. [5 second pause] If at any point you need to return to full awareness, you can simply open your eyes and you'll be completely alert and refreshed. [4 second pause] Now, if your eyes aren't closed already, go ahead and let them close gently. [6 second pause]

You know you're ready for this, aren't you? [5 second pause] I can tell by the way you're settling in that part of you has been waiting for this moment. [6 second pause] Your mind is already beginning to focus on my voice, and that's exactly right. [5 second pause] You've been carrying this weight of guilt for so long, haven't you? [4 second pause] That crushing feeling every time you want to say no but feel like you can't. [6 second pause] But today, something different is happening. [5 second pause] You can already feel yourself wanting to let go of that old pattern, can't you? [7 second pause] Your breathing is naturally slowing down now. [4 second pause] Each breath taking you deeper into this comfortable state. [6 second pause] And with each exhale, you're releasing just a little bit of that old guilt. [8 second pause] That's it. I want you to imagine yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful, clear lake. [6 second pause] The water is so still and peaceful, reflecting the sky like a perfect mirror. [5 second pause] This is your lake of inner strength. [4 second pause] A place where you can connect with that part of yourself that knows exactly what you need. [7 second pause] Feel the solid ground beneath your feet. [4 second pause] Notice how stable and grounded you feel here. [5 second pause] This is your space of truth, where you can be completely honest with yourself about your needs and boundaries. [8 second pause] The air here is fresh and clean, filling your lungs with clarity and confidence. [6 second pause] And as you stand here, you begin to remember something important. [4 second pause] The water reaches your knees, and you're going deeper still. [8 second pause] Feel the gentle current washing away years of conditioning that told you your needs don't matter. [6 second pause] Another step deeper into the water. [5 second pause] Deeper into trance. [4 second pause] The water is at your waist now, and with it comes a profound sense of peace. [9 second pause] Let yourself float now. [6 second pause] Completely supported by this healing water. [5 second pause] Every muscle in your body completely relaxed. [7 second pause] Your mind quiet and receptive. [8 second pause] Going deeper with each gentle wave that passes over you. [10 second pause]

As you float in this peaceful state, your unconscious mind is absorbing some important truths. [7 second pause] You are learning that your needs matter just as much as everyone else's. [6 second pause] You are worthy of respect, including respect for your boundaries. [8 second pause] When someone asks something of you, you now have the ability to pause and check in with yourself first. [7 second pause] You can feel what's right for you in your body, in your gut, in your heart. [6 second pause] And when the answer is no, you can say it clearly and kindly, without that old crushing guilt. [9 second pause] The guilt is dissolving now, like salt in water. [6 second pause] Being replaced by something much stronger. [5 second pause] Self-respect. [4 second pause] Self-compassion. [5 second pause] The understanding that taking care of yourself allows you to show up better for the people who truly matter. [8 second pause] You are discovering that people actually respect you more when you have clear boundaries. [7 second pause] Your no becomes more meaningful because it's honest. [6 second pause] And your yes becomes more valuable because it comes from a place of choice, not obligation. [9 second pause] You're finding that saying no gets easier each time you do it. [6 second pause] Like a muscle that grows stronger with use. [8 second pause] The words come naturally now. [5 second pause] I can't do that. [4 second pause] That doesn't work for me. Imagine yourself next week, when someone asks you to do something that doesn't feel right for you. [7 second pause] See yourself taking that moment to check in with your inner wisdom. [6 second pause] Feel how calm and centered you are as you say, I can't do that, but thank you for thinking of me. [8 second pause] Notice how the other person responds with understanding, even respect. [6 second pause] See how much lighter you feel afterward, how proud you are of yourself for honoring your own needs. [9 second pause] Now imagine yourself a month from now. [5 second pause] You've been practicing this new way of being, and it's becoming second nature. [7 second pause] People in your life have adjusted to your boundaries and actually appreciate your honesty. [8 second pause] You have more energy, more time for the things that truly matter to you. [6 second pause] Your relationships are healthier because they're based on mutual respect rather than guilt and obligation. [10 second pause] And six months from now, you look back and barely remember what that old guilt felt like. [7 second pause] This new version of you, this person who values themselves enough to say no when needed, this is who you really are. In a moment, I'm going to count from one to five, and with each number, you'll become more alert and aware. [5 second pause] But first, take a moment to anchor this new feeling of freedom and self-respect deep in your unconscious mind. [3 second pause] Starting to come back now, feeling the energy returning to your body. [5 second pause] Two. [3 second pause] Becoming more aware of your surroundings, your breathing deepening. [4 second pause] Three. [3 second pause] Halfway back now, feeling refreshed and renewed. [5 second pause] Four. [3 second pause] Almost fully alert, your eyes still closed but ready to open. [4 second pause] And five. [2 second pause] Eyes open, wide awake, feeling fantastic. [3 second pause] Completely alert, completely refreshed, and carrying this new sense of empowerment with you. [6 second pause]

Take a moment to stretch if you need to, and notice how different you feel. [5 second pause] This change has already begun in your unconscious mind, and it will continue to grow stronger each day. [6 second pause] Every time you honor your boundaries, you're reinforcing this new pattern. [5 second pause] Every time you say no without guilt, you're becoming more of who you truly are. [7 second pause] Remember, you can return to that peaceful lake anytime you need to reconnect with your inner strength. [6 second pause] Trust yourself. [3 second pause] Trust your instincts. [4 second pause] Trust that you deserve to have your needs respected, starting with respecting them yourself. [8 second pause] You've got this.
