Welcome to this hypnotherapy session designed to help you release that wired feeling at bedtime and allow natural sleep to come to you. [3 second pause] You can lie down comfortably with your arms resting naturally at your sides or on your stomach, whichever feels most natural for you. [4 second pause] In just a moment, I'll ask you to close your eyes, but not quite yet. [3 second pause] This session is designed for you to drift off to sleep naturally, so there's no need to worry about staying awake until the end. [4 second pause] Your unconscious mind will continue to receive all the beneficial suggestions even as you sleep. [5 second pause] This is a safe space for you to completely let go and allow your body's natural sleep mechanisms to take over. [4 second pause] Now, when you're ready, close your eyes and let's begin this journey toward natural, restful sleep.

I'm going to help you release that wired energy now. [5 second pause] You know that feeling, don't you? [4 second pause] That restless, buzzing sensation that keeps your body alert when it should be winding down. [6 second pause] But right now, in this moment, you can already feel something beginning to shift. [5 second pause] Your body knows how to sleep. [4 second pause] It's done it thousands of times before. [6 second pause] And tonight, you're going to remember just how natural and easy it can be. Imagine now that you're standing at the edge of a peaceful lake at twilight. [6 second pause] The water is perfectly still, like a mirror reflecting the soft colors of the evening sky. [8 second pause] There's a gentle warmth in the air, and you can feel a soft breeze that seems to carry away any tension or restlessness from your body. [10 second pause] As you stand here, you notice that with each breath, the wired energy that has been coursing through your system begins to flow out of you and into the earth beneath your feet. [12 second pause] It's as if the ground itself is drawing out all that excess energy, all that restless electricity that has been keeping you awake. [10 second pause] You can actually feel it leaving your body, starting from the top of your head, flowing down through your neck and shoulders. [8 second pause] Moving through your arms and chest, down through your torso, into your legs, and finally out through your feet into the earth below. [14 second pause] The lake before you seems to pulse gently with a rhythm that matches your heartbeat. [8 second pause] And with each gentle pulse, you feel more and more of that wired energy dissolving away. [12 second pause]

Now, as you continue to stand by this peaceful lake, I want you to imagine taking a step forward into the shallow water. [8 second pause] The water is perfectly warm, exactly the right temperature. [6 second pause] As your feet touch the water, you feel an immediate sense of relief. [10 second pause] It's as if the water itself has healing properties, designed specifically to draw out any remaining tension or restlessness from your body. [12 second pause] Take another step deeper. [6 second pause] The water now reaches your ankles, and you can feel all the tension in your feet and lower legs simply melting away. [14 second pause] Another step. [8 second pause] The water reaches your calves now, and that soothing, healing sensation moves up your legs, releasing every muscle, every fiber. [16 second pause] With each step deeper into this healing water, your body remembers more and more how to be calm, how to be peaceful, how to be ready for sleep. [18 second pause] The water reaches your knees now. [8 second pause] And you notice that your breathing has become slower, deeper, more rhythmic. [12 second pause] Your heart rate is settling into a peaceful, steady rhythm. [10 second pause] The water continues to rise as you move deeper, reaching your thighs, your hips. [14 second pause] And with it, that wonderful sense of release continues to spread throughout your entire body. [20 second pause]

As you stand in this healing water, your body is learning a new pattern. [10 second pause] A pattern of releasing that wired energy naturally and easily when bedtime arrives. [12 second pause] Your nervous system is remembering how to shift smoothly from the active state of day into the peaceful state of night. [14 second pause] From now on, when your head touches the pillow, your body will automatically begin this same process of release. [16 second pause] The moment you lie down to sleep, your muscles will remember this feeling of letting go. [12 second pause] Your mind will recall this sense of peace and calm.
