Approach Without Fear of Rejection

[3 second pause] There's something quite remarkable about returning to this work. [2 second pause] You see, the very fact that you are here again speaks volumes about your commitment to yourself, to your growth, and to the positive changes you are creating in your life. [6 second pause] And as you observe your breathing, you might remember that feeling of calm confidence you touched into during your last session. [6 second pause] It's still there. [4 second pause] It's always been there. [5 second pause] And now you can allow your eyes to close if they haven't already, letting that familiar sense of peaceful awareness deepen. [8 second pause]

[6 second pause] A beautiful, sweeping staircase, perhaps made of rich, warm wood, or cool, smooth marble... whatever feels most welcoming to you. [7 second pause] The light here is soft and golden, falling gently around you like the warmth of a late afternoon sun. [6 second pause] And as you look down this staircase, you can see that it leads to a place of absolute peace... absolute safety... absolute stillness. [8 second pause] A place that exists just for you. [6 second pause] There are ten steps leading down to that beautiful place below. [5 second pause] And with every single step you take, you will find yourself going twice as deep... twice as relaxed... twice as wonderfully at ease. [7 second pause] Your unconscious mind already knows the way. [5 second pause] It has been waiting for you here. [8 second pause] Ten. [4 second pause] Place your hand gently on the banister now, feeling its solidity beneath your fingers. [5 second pause] Take that first step down, and feel a wave of deep, heavy relaxation beginning to move through the soles of your feet... spreading upward through your ankles... your calves... melting every muscle it touches. [9 second pause] Nine. [4 second pause] That wave of relaxation continues to rise... moving through your knees... your thighs... your hips... every muscle releasing, letting go completely. [4 second pause] Each breath you take now is slower... deeper... more nourishing. [6 second pause] And as you breathe out, you release any last traces of tension... any last remnants of the outside world... drifting away like leaves carried gently on a slow, quiet river. [4 second pause] That wonderful heaviness continues to move upward through your abdomen... your chest... your back... all those muscles along your spine softening and releasing, vertebra by vertebra. [7 second pause] You are so deeply relaxed now. [5 second pause] More present, more peaceful than you were just moments ago. [8 second pause] Six. [4 second pause] Halfway down this beautiful staircase now. [5 second pause] And as you reach this midpoint, you might notice something extraordinary happening. [6 second pause] A profound sense of peace... expanding outward from the very center of your being. [6 second pause] Like ripples moving across a perfectly still lake. [5 second pause] Touching every part of you. [8 second pause] Your shoulders melting downward. [5 second pause] Your jaw releasing. [5 second pause] Even the tiny muscles around your eyes becoming perfectly, beautifully still. [9 second pause] Five. [4 second pause] Going deeper still. [5 second pause] The relaxation now flowing up through your neck... your throat... the back of your head... spreading across your scalp like a gentle, warm wave. [7 second pause] Your mind becoming quieter... softer... more still with every passing moment. [8 second pause] Thoughts, if they arise, simply floating by like clouds across a wide open sky. [6 second pause] You don't need to hold onto any of them. [8 second pause] Four. [4 second pause] Your unconscious mind is fully engaged now, deeply receptive, beautifully open. [6 second pause] It has set aside everything that isn't needed here, and it is ready... so completely ready... to continue this important and meaningful work. [7 second pause] You are safe. [4 second pause] You are held. [4 second pause] You are exactly where you need to be. [9 second pause] Three. [4 second pause] Sinking deeper now with every heartbeat. [5 second pause] With every gentle rise and fall of your chest. [5 second pause] Imagine that the air itself around you is soft and warm and fragrant... perhaps carrying the faint scent of something that brings you peace. [7 second pause] Fresh pine, or ocean air, or warm rain on summer earth. [6 second pause] Breathe it in deeply. [10 second pause] And let it carry you even further down. [8 second pause] Two. [4 second pause] Almost there now. [5 second pause] You can sense that beautiful place below you, that sanctuary of stillness and peace, drawing you gently toward it. [7 second pause] Your whole body now... completely and utterly relaxed. [5 second pause] Your mind... quiet and clear as a mountain pool. [6 second pause] Your breathing... slow and easy and perfect. [9 second pause] One. [5 second pause] Step down now into that beautiful place. [6 second pause] Deeper than you have ever been before. [6 second pause] Deeper than you imagined you could go. [6 second pause] A thousand times more relaxed... more open... more wonderfully, peacefully still. [8 second pause] This is your place. [5 second pause] And here, in this exquisite depth of calm, your unconscious mind hears everything... understands everything... and is ready to receive everything that follows with absolute openness and trust. And in this deep state of awareness, you can begin to see those old fears differently. [7 second pause] As you've been discovering, fear of rejection is just a story your mind used to tell. [5 second pause] Natural, authentic presence. [7 second pause] This is who you really are. [6 second pause] A man who approaches life, and women, with genuine curiosity and calm assurance. [5 second pause] No elaborate plan. [5 second pause] No rehearsed lines. [6 second pause] Just you, being present, being genuine. [7 second pause] Watch yourself in this scene, approaching with ease. [7 second pause] Notice your posture. [5 second pause] Relaxed but engaged. [6 second pause] Notice your voice. [5 second pause] Warm and natural. [6 second pause] And notice how good it feels to be free. [7 second pause] Free from the old anxiety. [6 second pause] Free from needing a specific outcome. [7 second pause] You're simply there, connecting, curious about who she is. [8 second pause] And if the conversation flows, wonderful. [6 second pause] You find yourself naturally suggesting you continue it another time. [7 second pause] Maybe exchanging numbers. [6 second pause] It feels easy. [5 second pause] Natural. [5 second pause] Like it's always been this way. [8 second pause] And if the conversation doesn't go anywhere, that's fine too. [7 second pause] You walk away feeling good about yourself. [6 second pause] Because you showed up. [5 second pause] You were authentic. [5 second pause] You took action. [7 second pause] That's what confident men do. [6 second pause] And that's who you are now. [10 second pause]
