Negotiation Confidence Hypnosis | Listen 14 Days Before Events

Before we begin, let yourself settle into wherever you're lying down tonight. [4 second pause] Let your arms rest naturally at your sides, or gently on your belly — whichever feels most comfortable. [4 second pause] You don't need to do anything with your hands tonight. Just let them be heavy and still. [5 second pause] This session is designed to work with you as you drift toward sleep. You don't need to stay awake for it. In fact, the more you allow yourself to relax and let go, the more deeply the suggestions will settle into your mind. [5 second pause] If you fall asleep during the session — that's perfect. That's exactly what's supposed to happen. Your unconscious mind will continue to receive and absorb everything, even as you sleep. [5 second pause] Tonight, we're going to use the power of story and mental rehearsal to help your nervous system practice something important — speaking your number calmly, clearly, and with full conviction. Not with force. Not with performance. Just steady. Grounded. Like someone who already knows the outcome. [5 second pause] There's nothing you need to figure out tonight. No more rehearsing in your head with a tight chest. We're going to do it differently — gently, in trance, until your body learns what calm actually feels like when you say that number. [4 second pause] So go ahead and close your eyes now. [4 second pause] And let's begin.

Let me tell you a story about a journey that begins right where you are now. [6 second pause] There is a negotiator — and this negotiator is you — who once stood at the edge of a great still lake just before dawn. [7 second pause] The water was glass. Not a ripple. Not a sound except the soft exhale of wind through the trees at the far shore. [8 second pause] And this person — you — had been pacing the night before. Running numbers in your head. Rehearsing sentences that kept coming out shaky, tight, too fast. [7 second pause] But standing there at the edge of that lake, something changed. [8 second pause] Because the lake didn't care about the number. The lake didn't care about the room, or the faces across the table, or the silence that would follow the counteroffer. [9 second pause] The lake was just... still. [10 second pause] And as you stood there, watching your own reflection in that glassy surface, you noticed something. [8 second pause] Your breathing had slowed without you asking it to. [9 second pause] Your shoulders had dropped without you telling them to. [10 second pause] Your jaw had unclenched all on its own. [10 second pause] Because the body knows how to be still. It has always known. It just needed permission. [10 second pause] And tonight, I'm giving you that permission now. [8 second pause] Let your eyes stay closed. [7 second pause] Let your body sink just a little more into the surface beneath you. [9 second pause] Feel the weight of your legs. [8 second pause] The weight of your arms. [9 second pause] The weight of your head. [10 second pause] All of it, heavy and warm and completely supported. [10 second pause] You don't need to hold yourself up tonight. [9 second pause] The ground is doing that for you. [12 second pause]

The story continues. [8 second pause] You're still at the edge of that lake. [9 second pause] The sky above you is the deep, soft blue of very early morning — not quite dark, not quite light. [8 second pause] The kind of blue that feels like the world is holding its breath. [10 second pause] And there is a dock. [8 second pause] A simple wooden dock stretching out over the water, and at the end of it, a single chair. [9 second pause] You walk out to it slowly. [7 second pause] Each footstep on the wooden planks makes a soft, hollow sound. [8 second pause] Thud. [6 second pause] Thud. [6 second pause] Thud. [8 second pause] And with each step, you feel yourself descending — not physically, but inwardly — going deeper into that quiet place inside you that has always existed. [10 second pause] You reach the chair. [8 second pause] You sit. [9 second pause] And the lake stretches out before you, perfectly still, perfectly patient. [10 second pause] Somewhere behind you, the trees are breathing. [9 second pause] Somewhere above you, a single star is still visible at the edge of the horizon. [10 second pause] And you realize — sitting here — that this is what calm feels like. [10 second pause] Not the absence of something important happening. [8 second pause] Not the absence of stakes. [9 second pause] Just... the presence of yourself. [12 second pause] Fully here. [10 second pause] Fully grounded. [12 second pause] Fully ready. [14 second pause]

And now, as you sit at the end of that dock, I want you to imagine the water below you is so clear you can see straight through it. [9 second pause] And beneath the surface, there are layers. [8 second pause] Layer after layer of calm, cool, still water, each one deeper and more peaceful than the last. [10 second pause] I'm going to count down from ten to one. [6 second pause] And with each number, you will sink — not into the water — but into yourself. [8 second pause] Deeper into that quiet, capable place at your core. [10 second pause] Ten. [10 second pause] Sinking now. [9 second pause] Nine. [10 second pause] Every muscle in your face, soft and loose. [9 second pause] Eight. [10 second pause] Your shoulders melting downward. [10 second pause] Seven. [11 second pause] Your chest open, your breathing slow and even. [10 second pause] Six. [11 second pause] Your arms heavy, your hands completely still. [12 second pause] Five. [12 second pause] Halfway down now, and so much deeper than you expected. [11 second pause] Four. [12 second pause] Your legs heavy as driftwood, sinking into the dock, sinking into the night. [12 second pause] Three. [13 second pause] Deeper still. [11 second pause] Two. [13 second pause] Almost there. Almost to that place where everything is quiet and you are completely, perfectly calm. [12 second pause] One. [15 second pause] There. [14 second pause] Deep, deep down. [15 second pause] Resting now in the very still center of yourself. [18 second pause]

And here, in this deep, still place, the story shifts. [12 second pause] Because the negotiator at the end of the dock — you — has something to do tomorrow. [10 second pause] And your unconscious mind already knows exactly what it is. [12 second pause] So let's practice it here. [10 second pause] Not with tension. Not with rehearsal loops that tighten your chest. [12 second pause] Just gently. [10 second pause] Safely. [12 second pause] Like running your hand along a smooth stone until it feels familiar. [14 second pause] Imagine now that you are sitting across from the other side of the table. [10 second pause] You can see the room. [9 second pause] You can feel the chair beneath you. [10 second pause] And you notice something remarkable. [9 second pause] Your breathing is exactly as slow as it is right now. [11 second pause] Slow. [9 second pause] Even. [10 second pause] Unhurried. [12 second pause] Your hands are resting still, just as they are right now. [11 second pause] There is no shakiness in your chest. [10 second pause] No tightness in your throat. [12 second pause] Just that same quiet lake you've been sitting beside all night. [13 second pause] And when the moment comes — when it's time to say the number — you feel something settle in your body. [11 second pause] A kind of dropping into place. [10 second pause] Like the last piece of a lock clicking home. [12 second pause] And you open your mouth. [9 second pause] And the number comes out flat. [10 second pause] Clear. [10 second pause] Calm. [12 second pause] Not loud. Not aggressive. Not apologetic. [11 second pause] Just certain. [13 second pause] The way a mountain is certain. [11 second pause] The way the lake is certain. [14 second pause] It simply is what it is. [13 second pause] And after you say it, you do something that surprises even you. [11 second pause] You stop talking. [12 second pause] You let the number sit in the air. [11 second pause] You let the silence do its work. [14 second pause] Because you know — somewhere deep and sure inside you — that calm is not weakness. [11 second pause] Calm is the most powerful thing in the room. [13 second pause] The person who doesn't need to fill the silence has already won something important. [14 second pause] And that person is you. [15 second pause] Your voice doesn't shake because you don't need it to perform. [12 second pause] Your voice is steady because you already know your value. [13 second pause] You've known it all along. [14 second pause] Tonight, your body is simply learning to agree. [16 second pause] And it does agree. [14 second pause] Every breath you take right now is your body practicing calm. [13 second pause] Every exhale is a release of every shaky rehearsal you've ever run. [14 second pause] Gone now. [12 second pause] Dissolved into the lake. [15 second pause] What remains is the version of you who walks in tomorrow already knowing how this feels. [16 second pause]

Let the scene come into focus one more time — softly, gently. [13 second pause] Tomorrow morning. [11 second pause] You wake up and something feels different. [12 second pause] Quieter inside. [11 second pause] Steadier. [13 second pause] Like you've already been to the table and back. [12 second pause] You get ready without the loop running. [11 second pause] The number isn't something you're dreading saying. [12 second pause] It's just a fact you're carrying with you, calmly, the way you carry your keys. [14 second pause] You walk into the room. [11 second pause] You settle into your chair. [12 second pause] And beneath everything — beneath the voices, the papers, the back-and-forth — there is a stillness. [13 second pause] Your stillness. [11 second pause] The lake you found last night. [14 second pause] And when the moment arrives, you feel it. [12 second pause] That click of settling. [11 second pause] And you say the number. [13 second pause] Flat. [10 second pause] Calm. [11 second pause] Certain. [14 second pause] And then you wait. [13 second pause] Because you know how to wait. [14 second pause] You learned it at the edge of a lake before dawn. [15 second pause] And whatever happens next, you handle it from that same still place. [14 second pause] Grounded. [12 second pause] Present. [13 second pause] Yours. [18 second pause]

And now there is nothing more to do tonight. [14 second pause] The rehearsal is complete. [13 second pause] Your body has practiced calm. [14 second pause] Your voice has already said the number steadily, in the quiet theater of your mind. [15 second pause] And now it's time to let the story dissolve — gently, slowly — like mist lifting off the surface of the lake as morning comes. [16 second pause] The dock is still. [14 second pause] The water is still. [15 second pause] And you are still. [18 second pause] Let the scene go now. [15 second pause] Let the images soften and fade. [16 second pause] You don't need to hold onto anything. [15 second pause] Everything you need is already inside you. [18 second pause] And sleep is coming now. [16 second pause] Soft and deep and restoring. [18 second pause] Let your thoughts slow. [17 second pause] Let the words slow. [18 second pause] Let everything slow. [22 second pause] There is nothing to figure out. [20 second pause] Nothing to rehearse. [22 second pause] Just the weight of your body. [20 second pause] The warmth of the bed. [22 second pause] The soft rhythm of your breathing. [25 second pause] In. [20 second pause] And out. [25 second pause] In. [22 second pause] And out. [28 second pause] Deeper now. [25 second pause] Drifting. [28 second pause] Letting go. [30 second pause]

And as you drift further into sleep, know this. [22 second pause] Tomorrow belongs to the version of you who rested tonight. [25 second pause] The calm one. [22 second pause] The steady one. [25 second pause] The one who already knows. [28 second pause] Sleep now. [25 second pause] Deep, restoring sleep. [30 second pause] And when morning comes, you will be ready. [28 second pause] You already are. [35 second pause]
