[7 second pause] The specific sensory qualities that make up your experience. [9 second pause] And here's something fascinating. [6 second pause] When you change these qualities, you change the entire experience. [8 second pause]

Now, I'd like you to take that critical voice you've identified. [7 second pause] And imagine you have a remote control in your hand. [6 second pause] A remote that can adjust any quality of that voice. [8 second pause] Turn the volume down. [5 second pause] All the way down until it's barely a whisper. [8 second pause] Make the voice sound silly. [6 second pause] Perhaps like a cartoon character. [7 second pause] Or someone speaking after inhaling helium. [8 second pause] Notice how different that feels already. [7 second pause] And now shrink that voice down. [6 second pause] Make it tiny. [5 second pause] Like a distant echo. [8 second pause] And push it far away from you. [6 second pause] All the way to the horizon. [7 second pause] Until it's just a speck. [8 second pause] Barely noticeable. [6 second pause] And in its place, I want you to create something new. [8 second pause] A voice of kindness. [6 second pause] Your own voice, but softer. [7 second pause] Warmer.
