Hey there, I'm glad we have this time together today. [3 second pause] Before we begin, let's just take a moment to get you set up comfortably. [3 second pause] Go ahead and find a position that feels really good — either lying down or sitting back in a chair, whatever feels most natural to your body right now. [4 second pause] Let your hands rest gently, either at your sides or softly on your lap. [3 second pause] No need to hold anything, grip anything, or be anywhere other than exactly here. [4 second pause] If you're somewhere you can safely close your eyes, you're welcome to do that now, or in a moment when it feels right. [3 second pause] We'll ease into that together. [3 second pause] I also want to say something important before we dive in. [3 second pause] This session is designed to be a gentle, supportive experience. [3 second pause] Nothing here is about fixing you, because you are not broken. [4 second pause] What we're doing today is simply having a conversation — part of it out loud, part of it happening quietly in the deeper parts of your mind — about a new way of relating to food, to eating, and most importantly, to yourself. [4 second pause] You don't need to try hard. [3 second pause] In fact, the less you try, the better this tends to work. [3 second pause] Just let the words wash over you, and let your mind take whatever it finds useful. [4 second pause] If your thoughts wander, that's completely fine — just let them wander, and come back whenever you do. [3 second pause] There's nothing you can do wrong here. [4 second pause] This session uses a relaxed, conversational style of hypnosis — so it may feel less like a formal session and more like a friendly chat that gradually becomes very, very calm. [3 second pause] That's exactly how it's supposed to feel. [3 second pause] Okay. [2 second pause] Whenever you're ready, let's begin.

As you're listening to my voice, you might notice that your body is already starting to settle a little. [5 second pause] Not because I told it to — just because that's what bodies do when they feel safe. [6 second pause] And I want you to know, you are safe here. [7 second pause] So let's just start with something simple. [4 second pause] Bring your attention to the weight of your body — wherever you're resting right now. [6 second pause] Feel the surface beneath you, supporting you completely. [7 second pause] You don't have to hold yourself up. [5 second pause] You can just... let go of that job. [8 second pause] And as you do, take a slow breath in through your nose. [4 second pause] Let it fill you gently. [5 second pause] And then breathe out, long and easy, through your mouth. [8 second pause] Good. [5 second pause] Let's do that one more time — breathing in, slowly. [5 second pause] And breathing out, letting a little more tension leave with that breath. [9 second pause] Now I'd like to invite you to rest your gaze on a single point — real or imagined — somewhere just above eye level if your eyes are still open. [5 second pause] Just fix your attention gently on that spot. [6 second pause] And as you keep your eyes there, you might start to notice the edges of your vision softening a little. [7 second pause] The world around that point becoming a little blurry, a little less important. [8 second pause] Your eyes may begin to feel heavier, wanting to close on their own. [7 second pause] And that's completely fine — whenever they want to close, just let them. [9 second pause] Because closing your eyes doesn't mean you're losing anything. [5 second pause] It just means you're turning your attention inward, to a quieter, more comfortable place. [8 second pause] And as your eyes close now, or whenever they're ready, notice how that heaviness spreads — gently, softly — from your eyes outward. [7 second pause] Across your forehead, which smooths and softens. [8 second pause] Down through your cheeks and jaw — just allow your teeth to part slightly, your jaw to drop a little, releasing any holding there. [9 second pause] That's right. [7 second pause] And that wave of ease continues — down through your neck and shoulders, which drop just a little further than you expected. [8 second pause] Down your arms, heavy and warm, all the way to your fingertips. [9 second pause] Down through your chest, your belly — and with every breath out, your belly softens, expands, and lets go. [10 second pause] Down through your hips and thighs, your knees, your calves, all the way to the soles of your feet. [10 second pause] Your whole body now, loose and comfortable. [8 second pause] Heavy and at ease. [9 second pause] And you might notice something interesting — a kind of pleasant heaviness, or maybe a gentle tingling somewhere in your hands or face. [7 second pause] You might feel a warmth spreading through your limbs, or a sense of floating, as if the surface beneath you is perfectly molding to every part of you. [8 second pause] Whatever you're noticing, it's a sign that something good is happening. [7 second pause] Your body knows how to do this. [6 second pause] It's been waiting for this kind of quiet. [9 second pause]

I'd like to take you somewhere now. [5 second pause] Somewhere that exists just for you — a place your imagination is building even as I speak. [7 second pause] Picture yourself stepping into a beautiful, sun-warmed garden. [6 second pause] Maybe it's one you've seen before, or maybe it's entirely new — it doesn't matter. [7 second pause] What matters is the feeling of it. [8 second pause] The air here is soft and just the right temperature — neither too warm nor too cool. [7 second pause] There's a gentle breeze moving through the leaves of the trees around you, and the sound of it is like a whisper of permission — permission to rest, to be still, to simply be. [9 second pause] Beneath your feet, the ground is solid and steady. [6 second pause] You can feel it supporting you completely, just as it always has. [8 second pause] And as you look around this garden, you notice it's full of life — flowers in colors that feel like calm, trees that have been here for a very long time, their roots going deep, deep into the earth. [9 second pause] As you walk, you come to a clearing at the center of the garden. [6 second pause] In the clearing there's a comfortable place to sit — a bench, a soft patch of grass, a low stone wall warmed by the sun — whatever feels right to you. [7 second pause] And you settle there, easily, comfortably. [8 second pause] From here you can see the whole garden stretching out around you, and it's beautiful. [7 second pause] And peaceful. [9 second pause] This is your place. [8 second pause] You can come back here whenever you need to. [10 second pause]

And as you sit here in this peaceful garden, I'm going to invite you to go even deeper into this wonderful state of relaxation. [6 second pause] I'm going to count down from ten to one, and with each number, you'll find yourself drifting twice as deeply into this comfortable, calm place. [5 second pause] Not falling — just settling, the way a leaf settles softly onto still water. [8 second pause] Ten. [10 second pause] Sinking deeper, your whole body heavy and at ease. [9 second pause] Nine. [10 second pause] Each breath carrying you further inward, further down. [9 second pause] Eight. [10 second pause] The garden around you feels even more vivid, even more real. [15 second pause] Deeply relaxed. [12 second pause] Completely at ease. [14 second pause] And now, imagine a warm golden light beginning to gather just above the crown of your head. [8 second pause] Soft and gentle, like afternoon sunlight through leaves. [9 second pause] And as you breathe in, this light begins to pour down through the top of your head — warm, golden, soothing. [10 second pause] It moves through your scalp, your face, your neck, relaxing everything it touches. [10 second pause] Flowing down through your chest, your belly, your arms. [11 second pause] Filling every corner of you with warmth and calm. [12 second pause] Down through your hips, your thighs, your legs, all the way to the tips of your toes. [13 second pause] Your whole body now, filled with this soft golden light. [12 second pause] Peaceful. [10 second pause] Whole. [14 second pause]

And here, in this deep and quiet place, I want to speak to you — not to the part of you that's always thinking and planning and judging, but to the deeper part of you, the part that already knows how to take care of yourself. [9 second pause] Your mind may take from what I share whatever feels true and useful, and simply set aside anything that doesn't quite fit — there's nothing here you have to accept, and nothing you have to resist. [8 second pause] Just let the words settle, like seeds in good soil. [10 second pause] Here's something I want you to know, something that is simply true. [6 second pause] Your body is not your enemy. [8 second pause] It never has been. [9 second pause] Your body is a remarkable, intelligent system — one that has been working for you every single moment of your life, without you having to think about it. [8 second pause] Your heart beats. [5 second pause] Your lungs breathe. [5 second pause] Your stomach digests. [6 second pause] All of this, without effort, without instruction.
