The work we do here tonight is already working the moment you decided to press play. One last thing — there is nothing you need to do to make this work. You don't need to try hard, concentrate intensely, or blank your mind. Simply allow. That is all. Now, let your eyes close gently.

Feel the weight of your body against the surface supporting you. [6 second pause] Notice the temperature of the air on your skin right now. [7 second pause] Is it cool near your hands? [5 second pause] Warm near your neck? [6 second pause] Just notice. [8 second pause] Feel the exact points where your body makes contact with what is beneath you.
