Take a deep, comfortable breath in through your nose, feeling your lungs expand fully like a balloon gently filling with light. And as you exhale through your mouth, feel the first wave of relaxation flowing through your body like warm honey, melting away any tension. With each breath, allow your muscles to soften and release, melting into the surface beneath you, as if you're being embraced by a cloud. Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest, like peaceful waves on a calm shore, each movement bringing deeper peace.
With each inhale, you're drawing in calm, clear energy, like golden light filling your body, illuminating every cell with tranquility. And with each exhale, you're releasing tension and mental clutter, watching it drift away like leaves on a gentle stream, carried far into the distance.
I'm going to count down from ten to one, and with each number, you'll feel yourself drifting twice as deep into relaxation. Ten... floating deeper. Nine... muscles softening. Eight... peace flowing through you. Seven... drifting down. Six... letting go completely. Five... sinking deeper still. Four... worries floating away. Three... profound relaxation. Two... almost there. One... deeply relaxed.
