Welcome to this transformative hypnotherapy session. I want you to know that wherever you are in your journey with exercise and physical activity, your experiences and feelings are completely valid. Many people find themselves struggling with motivation or having complex feelings about exercise, and that's perfectly natural.
Find a comfortable position where you won't be disturbed for the next 30 minutes. Whether you prefer sitting in a cozy chair or lying on your bed, choose what feels right for you. While listening, avoid operating machinery or driving, as your safety is paramount. If you're lying down, you may wish to place a small pillow under your neck for comfort - whatever helps you feel most at ease.
I want to reassure you that you're always in control during this session. Think of me as a trusted guide, walking alongside you on this journey of positive change. You can open your eyes and become fully alert at any time if needed - you're always in charge of your experience.
Now, take a deep, comforting breath. Allow yourself this moment to simply be present. Whatever concerns or thoughts about your day are lingering in your mind, give yourself permission to gently set them aside for now. They'll still be there later if you need them, but right now, this time is just for you.
Relaxation
Take a long, slow, deep breath in through your nose, feeling your lungs expand completely, like a balloon gently filling with pure, refreshing air. And as you exhale through your mouth, feel waves of tension beginning to dissolve and float away from your body, like clouds dispersing in a gentle breeze, carrying away any stress or tension. With each breath, you sink deeper and deeper into a profound state of peaceful relaxation, as if you're slowly descending into the softest, most comfortable bed you've ever known, surrounded by perfect warmth and comfort.
Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest, like peaceful waves on a calm ocean shore, each movement bringing you deeper into this wonderful state of relaxation. With each breath out, allow your body to become twice as relaxed, three times as peaceful, four times as comfortable, as if you're floating on a cushion of pure tranquility. Each exhale carries you deeper into this wonderful state of serenity, like sinking into warm, soft sand on a peaceful beach.
Focus now on your feet and toes. Feel them becoming heavy and comfortable, as if they're being wrapped in warm, soothing blankets of pure relaxation. Imagine a golden light of relaxation flowing into your toes, making them feel warm and peaceful, like sunlight warming them on a perfect summer day. This comfortable heaviness slowly spreads up through your ankles, like warm honey flowing upward, bringing complete relaxation to every muscle and tendon.
