Before we begin, please make yourself comfortable in your bed or wherever you plan to sleep tonight. You can lie down comfortably with your arms resting naturally at your sides or on your stomach, whichever feels most natural for you. In just a moment, I'll ask you to close your eyes, but not quite yet. This session is designed for you to drift off to sleep naturally, so there's no need to worry about staying awake until the end. Your unconscious mind will continue to receive all the beneficial suggestions even as you sleep. This is a safe space for you to completely let go and allow your body's natural sleep mechanisms to take over. Now, when you're ready, close your eyes and let's begin this journey toward natural, restful sleep.

I'm going to help you release that wired energy now. You know that feeling, don't you? That restless, buzzing sensation that keeps your body alert when it should be winding down. But right now, in this moment, you can already feel something beginning to shift. Your body knows how to sleep. It's done it thousands of times before. And tonight, you're going to remember just how natural and easy it can be. Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose. And as you breathe out, let your shoulders drop just a little. That's right. With each breath, you're already beginning to disconnect from that wired feeling. Your nervous system is starting to recognize that it's time to shift gears. Time to move from that alert, active state into something much more peaceful. Another deep breath now. And as you exhale, notice how your body seems to sink just a little deeper into whatever is supporting you.
The Scene
Imagine now that you're standing at the edge of a peaceful lake at twilight. The water is perfectly still, like a mirror reflecting the soft colors of the evening sky. There's a gentle warmth in the air, and you can feel a soft breeze that seems to carry away any tension or restlessness from your body. As you stand here, you notice that with each breath, the wired energy that has been coursing through your system begins to flow out of you and into the earth beneath your feet. It's as if the ground itself is drawing out all that excess energy, all that restless electricity that has been keeping you awake. You can actually feel it leaving your body, starting from the top of your head, flowing down through your neck and shoulders. Moving through your arms and chest, down through your torso, into your legs, and finally out through your feet into the earth below.
