Relaxation
As you settle into your comfortable position, begin to notice your breathing. There's no need to change anything about your breath, simply observe its natural rhythm. With each breath, feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest. Notice how your body naturally knows exactly how to breathe. As you continue breathing, you might become aware of the weight of your body against the surface beneath you. Feel how gravity gently holds you, supporting you completely. With each exhale, you might notice your body settling a little more heavily. And as you continue breathing, you might begin to notice the temperature of the air as it flows in and out. Perhaps it's slightly cooler as you breathe in. And slightly warmer as you breathe out. With each breath, you can allow your awareness to soften. There's nothing you need to do right now except rest.
