You are safe. You may be anxious, or worried, and that's natural and ok. You are prepared and well able to handle anything that may happen, and so you are safe.
Now, I want you to visualize your worries as a dark cloud floating in your mind. See this cloud clearly, notice its shape, its darkness. And now, watch as this cloud begins to dissipate, slowly breaking apart into wisps of mist. As it dissipates, the cloud becomes thinner and lighter, dissolving into nothing. As the cloud disappears completely, warm, golden sunlight begins to shine through. This beautiful sunlight grows brighter and stronger, filling the space where the dark cloud once was with its gentle warmth. This is your light of safety, your inner peace, shining through like the sun after a storm.
As you continue to breathe deeply and naturally, you begin to hear a gentle voice within you. With each breath in, this voice whispers softly, "I am safe." With each breath out, you hear again, "I am safe." Let this voice become part of your breathing rhythm, a constant reminder of your security.
And now, feel a warm, protective energy beginning to surround you. It starts as a gentle warmth at your core and expands outward. This energy forms a protective shield all around you, like a cocoon of safety. Feel this shield surrounding you completely, protecting you from any harm or worry.
You can take notice of your concerns and allow them to pass through you and away because there is no need to focus on them. Each worry that comes to mind is simply a passing thought, like a cloud drifting across the sky. You observe it, acknowledge it, and then watch it break up and dissolve in the warm sunshine. These thoughts have no power over you, they are not threats, just temporary visitors in your mind.
Now, gently press the ball of your left foot into the ground, creating a firm, grounding connection. As you do this, feel how safe and protected you are in this moment.
